Delmar Glaze was born in Charlotte, NC and attended West Mecklenburg High School. He was rated a 3-star recruit by ESPN and was a 2019 SoMECK first team All-Conference for his play on the offensive line. Following his senior season, he committed to play football at the University of Maryland.
Glaze took a redshirt in 2020 after only playing in one game for the Terrapins. In 2021 as a redshirt freshman, he appeared in all 13 games with 6 starts (4 at right tackle, 2 at left tackle). He was on an offensive line, which blocked for a program record 3,960 passing yards. Pro Football Focus listed him as the 4th highest pass blocking grade in the Big 10.
Last season, he was Honorable Mention All-Big 10 after starting all 13 games (12 at RT, and one at LT). This season, Glaze was the Terrapins' starting right tackle and leader of their offensive line.
