Jack Sawyer

Sawyer attended Pickerington North High School in Ohio and was a 5-star rated prospect, the #4 rated player in the nation and Ohio State’s highest rated recruit in their 2021 class. As a junior, he was the OCC-Ohio Division Defensive Player of the Year after collecting 37 tackles and 13.5 sacks. Sawyer saw some action in his freshman season, playing in six games and tallying 11 tackles and three sacks in his limited action. In 2022, he played in 13 games and was named Honorable mention all-Big Ten Conference by the coaches after collecting 24 tackles and 4.5 sacks, including 6.5 tackles for a loss. In 2023, he played in 13 games and collected 48 tackles, 10 TFL, and 6.5 sacks. Sawyer announced he will be coming back to Ohio State for the 2024 season.
