Foster was a three-star recruit by 247Sports at West Bloomfield High School in the Detroit area. He committed to Missouri early on in his senior season of 2017.
He redshirted in 2018, and in 2019, he played in 2 games at right tackle. During the 2020 season, Foster started seeing more action, playing in 9 games with 2 of those starts.
Foster took over the starting left tackle spot in 2021 and was graded as the 3rd best SEC starting tackle in run blocking according to PFF, helping running back Tyler Badie set a new school record of 1,604 rushing yards. He started all 13 games at left tackle in 2022 as well, giving him 26 consecutive starts.
Foster looked solid once again in 2023 as he played each game for Missouri and was named First Team All-SEC.
