Princely Umanmielen

Umanmielen was a four-star prospect who played high school football for Manor High School in Texas. During his senior season in 2019 he collected 90 tackles, 27 tackles for loss and ten sacks. He was ranked as the No. 9 prospect at his position in the country. He committed to Florida over offers from Texas, Baylor and Auburn. In 2020, Umanmielen only saw action in six games, and did the most in his limited time collecting three tackles, two tackles for loss and two sacks. During the 2021 season, he appeared in 13 games at defensive end and was effective throughout the season, totaling 17 tackles, 1.5 sacks and a forced fumble for the Gators. In 2022, he broke into the starting lineup, starting 11 out of 13 games at defensive end for Florida. He did not let the Gators down and was productive throughout the season, totaling 39 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks and 2 forced fumbles. Feeding off the momentum from 2022, he played 12 games and collected 7 sacks to go along with 39 tackles for the Gators in 2023. After the season Umanmielen decided to enter the transfer portal and ultimately signed with Ole Miss.
