Raheim Sanders was a three-sport star at Rockledge High School in Florida, playing football, basketball and track. Sanders was rated a four-star prospect by Rivals and 247Sports. He played running back, wide receiver and linebacker during his time in high school. Sanders picked Arkansas over Oklahoma, Auburn, Miami (Fla.), and Florida State.
As a freshman, Sanders earned SEC All-Freshman honors from the league’s coaches after playing in all 13 games finishing with 578 yards and five touchdowns on the ground while adding 11 receptions for 109 yards and a score. This past season, he established himself as one of the best running backs in the country, rushing for 1,443 yards and 10 touchdowns. He also snared 28 passes for 271 yards and two more scores and enters the 2023 season as a Draft 412 pre-season First Team All-American.
In the 2023 season, Sanders played just six games, missing the remainder of the season with a torn labrum. In his limited time this season, Sanders recorded 209 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 62 carries. He also had ten receptions out of the backfield. After the season, Sanders entered the transfer portal and elected to play at South Carolina in 2024.
