TreVeyon Henderson starred at Hopewell High School in Virginia. He rushed for over 4,000 yards and scored 50 touchdowns in his career. He was rated a five-star recruit by both ESPN and 247 Sports. With the choice to go wherever he wanted, Henderson committed to Ohio State.
In 2021 as a freshman, Henderson played in 13 games for the Buckeyes and ran for 1,248 yards on 183 attempts for an incredible 6.8 yards per rush, with 15 TD’s. He also added 27 receptions for 312 yards.
Henderson only played in eight games his sophomore year as he was hampered by torn ligaments and a broken bone in his left foot. Henderson, despite playing only part of the season, was still able to rush for 576 yards and six TD’s.
Henderson once again missed some time with injuries and played in 10 games for the Buckeyes. Despite his injuries he still ran for 926 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Henderson was draft eligible after this season was over, but has decided to return to Ohio State for the 2024 season. He will share the backfield with Quinshon Judkins, who transferred from Ole Miss.
