Trevin Wallace played his high school football at Wayne County High School in Georgia. He lettered 4 times in his high school career, seeing playing time on both sides of the ball. Over his senior season, he totaled 96 tackles, 12.0 tackles for loss, 5.0 sacks, three forced fumbles and an interception. He was rated as a 4-star recruit by ESPN, 247Sports, and Rivals.com. He was very highly recruited, receiving offers from a long list of power-5 schools and chose Kentucky as the next step in his football journey.
In his first season with Kentucky, Wallace played in 12 games, making one start. Getting his snaps off the bench for most of the season, he was able to make 32 total tackles with 4.0 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, a forced fumble, and a pass breakup. This performance earned him an appearance on the All-SEC Freshman Team in 2021.
Last season as a sophomore, Wallace started in 6 of the 12 games he played for the Wildcats. His snap share increased over the season, and he totaled 54 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, and 2 interceptions. His play in 2022 earned him a starting role for this season.
This year, Wallace started 12 games for Kentucky and performed well in what turned out to be his draft season. He made 80 total tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, a forced fumble, and an interception. This campaign placed him on NFL draft boards as he drew attention within the conference and all of college football as one of the primary impact players on the Wildcat defense.
