Tyler Guyton

Guyton attended Manor High School in Texas and played both basketball and football. He played mainly defensive line for Manor and helped lead them to the state quarterfinals while being a second-team All-District player. 247Sports gave him a 3-star rating and during his senior season, he announced his commitment to TCU University. As a true freshman at TCU in 2020, Guyton redshirted, seeing action in only 1 game. In 2021, he appeared in 8 games, 1 as a starter, while splitting time between being a backup offensive lineman and H-back. He caught 1 pass for a 6-yard touchdown during the season. After the 2021 season, Guyton announced he was entering the transfer portal and eventually selected Oklahoma to continue his football career. Last season for the Sooners, he played in 10 games and made 5 starts at offensive tackle. According to PFF, he played 400 snaps and allowed 2 sacks and no hits in 191 pass-blocking plays. This season, Guyton has started all 8 games at right tackle and is widely considered a top 100 player in this draft class. In 2023, he started 10 games at right tackle for the Sooners and did not rate.
