Carson Beck attended Mandarin High School in Jacksonville, Florida and was named the 2018 Florida Mr. Football after throwing for 3,546 yards and 30 touchdowns as a junior. He led Mandarin to a Florida State Championship, throwing for five touchdowns in the game. As a senior, he recorded 1,843 yards and 20 touchdowns and committed to play baseball at Florida as a sophomore, before deciding to focus on football. He committed to Alabama but ultimately would decommit and decide to attend the University of Georgia.
After redshirting in 2020, Beck would only see the field in 11 games as a mop-up quarterback between 2021-2022, only attempting 58 passes, but still throwing six touchdowns.
In 2023, it was finally time for Beck to take over the starting quarterback reins in Athens. He had a huge season for the Bulldogs, throwing for 3,941 yards and 24 touchdowns. After the season Beck has the opportunity to leave for the NFL, but decided to come back and improve his draft stock in 2024.
