Condon attended The Walker School in Marietta, Georgia where he batted .515 as a junior and .432 as a senior, choosing to join Georgia following high school.
Condon redshirted in his first year in 2022. His redshirt freshman season was one of the best freshman performances in recent memory as he batted .386 with .800 slugging, 25 home runs and 67 RBI. He was named National Freshman of the Year by Collegiate Baseball, Baseball America, D1Baseball.com and NCBWA.
This season is his redshirt sophomore year, and he has been the hottest player in baseball through the first 25 games of the year. He has an impressive .517 batting average with 17 home runs, 37 RBI, and 1.213 slugging. He is competing to be the first overall selection in the draft this year, and if he somehow stays this red hot, he may just win that battle.
