Conner Weigman grew up in Cypress, Texas and attended Bridgeland High School, where he played baseball and football. He became Bridgeland's starting quarterback during his sophomore season. During his junior and senior seasons he passed for 3,808 and 2,588 yards respectively. At the end of his senior season he was named the Offensive Player of the Year by the Houston Touchdown Club and the National High School Quarterback Of The Year by the National Quarterback Club.
Weigman was a five-star recruit and committed to play college football at Texas A&M after considering offers from Arkansas, Baylor, Florida, Oklahoma, and Texas. He was also considered one of the best baseball prospects in Texas and announced his intentions of playing shortstop for the Aggies as well. Weigman joined the Texas A&M Aggies as an early enrollee and withdrew his name from the 2022 Major League Baseball draft. Weigman ultimately decided against playing baseball and dedicated himself to the football team.
He played in five games as a true freshman, stating the last four, and threw for 896 yards and eight touchdowns without throwing an interception.
Weigman was named the starting quarterback entering his sophomore season and would go on to start the first four games of the season before suffering a season-ending foot injury. He threw for 979 yards and eight touchdowns while throwing two interceptions.
Weigman sustained several injuries in 2024 and only played in six games for the Aggies. He finished the season with 819 yards and three touchdowns while throwing five interceptions. At the conclusion of the season he entered the transfer portal.
