Dennis-Sutton attended McDonogh School in Owings Mills, Maryland where he played football, basketball and ran track during his high school career. Dennis-Sutton was rated a five-star prospect even though his junior season was cancelled due to COVID-19 and he missed part of his senior season due to injury. He was selected to play in the 2022 All-American Bowl and the Polynesian Bowl. During his football career he lettered all four years and was a two-time captain. He committed to Penn State University during his senior season.
As a true freshman in 2022, Dennis-Sutton appeared in all 13 games and collected 17 tackles, 3.5 TFL, three sacks, and an interception. He saw his playing time increase as the season went on and he was named an ESPN.com True Freshman All-American.
In 2023, Dennis-Sutton was named third team All-Big Ten by the coaches and honorable mention by the media after appearing in all 13 games, making three starts, and finishing the season with 26 tackles, six TFL, 3.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles.
