Isaac Guerendo

Isaac Guerendo attended Avon High School in Indiana. Over his high school career, he earned 3-star recruit ratings from ESPN, rivals.com, and 247 Sports. He chose to join Wisconsin over offers from Air Force, Army, and some other group of 5 schools. Guerendo redshirted in 2018 and did not see any game action. In 2019, he played in 6 games, rushing just once as he was mainly a special teams contributor. In 2020, he played in just 1 game, rushing 11 times for 36 yards. His 2021 season was off to a good start as he played the first 4 games, rushing 23 times for 160 yards and a touchdown. He then missed the rest of the season due to injury. Guerendo's first full season came in 2022 as a redshirt senior. He played in all 12 games as a backup running back and a kick returner. He rushed 64 times for 385 yards and 5 touchdowns. Following the season, he transferred to Louisville for his sixth and final year of college. This season with Louisville, Guerendo played 14 games, sharing the backfield with Jawhar Jordan. Guerendo rushed 132 times on the year, totaling 810 yards and 11 touchdowns. He also showed some production in the passing game as he had 22 receptions for 234 yards.
