Bradford attended Fork Union Military Academy where he was one of the top safety prospects in the country. He was graded as a 3-star recruit by ESPN, 247 Sports, and rivals.com. He chose TCU over Arizona State, Purdue, Virginia Tech and Houston.
As a true freshman, Bradford played in all 12 games, making 23 tackles. His sophomore season came in 2020 when he played in all 10 games tallying 44 tackles with 6.5 TFL.
His third and fourth seasons with the Horned frogs were similar as he played 11 and 12 games respectively. He recorded 52 tackles in 2021 and 58 in 2022. He also had one interception in each season, scoring a touchdown in 2022.
He returned to TCU for his fifth season in 2023, playing in 12 games and making 54 tackles. He added 2 interceptions, scoring another touchdown on one of them.
