Rodney Green Jr.

Green attended El Cerrito High School in California. He slashed .339/.472/.428 with 19 hits, 16 RBI & eight stolen bases as a sophomore. He chose to join Cal following his high school career. As a freshman, Green showed some promise, slashing .293/.394/.536 (average, on base %, slugging). He hit 6 home runs, 10 doubles, and 3 triples on his way to 21 RBI. He did this in 36 starts in 44 games played in center field. As a sophomore, Green stepped up in his starting role, slashing .291/388/.558, and driving in 38 RBI on 14 home runs and 11 doubles. He was one of three Golden Bears to start all 52 games on the year. Green's performance earned him a First Team All-Pac 12 Selection. This year is Green's junior year, and he expects to improve yet again, continuing to show his all around skill.
