Read the Room: Tennessee Titans 2026 Fantasy Football Breakdown

No, I don't think they're going to the Super Bowl. That's not the comparison I'm making.

Heading into last season, New England was a team very few people believed in. They made smart coaching hires, built around their young quarterback, and surprised the entire league. I think Tennessee is following a very similar blueprint.

Nearly every move the Titans have made this offseason feels like the right one.

They hired defensive-minded head coach Robert Saleh after the job he did holding together an injury-riddled 49ers defense in 2025. They paired him with one of the NFL's best quarterback developers in Brian Daboll, reunited Daboll with Wan'Dale Robinson, and drafted one of the most polished receivers in the class in Carnell Tate.

I don't know if Tennessee will make the playoffs. I do know they're going to be a lot more competitive than people expect.

Quarterbacks

I've said it all offseason, and I'll keep saying it: Cam Ward is a dawg.

He's obsessed with winning, commands the locker room, and showed throughout 2025 that he can make every throw on the field while extending plays with his legs. Brian Daboll is exactly the type of coach you want developing a quarterback with Ward's skill set.

Forget what the Titans looked like offensively in 2025. This is an entirely different coaching staff with an entirely different vision.

Ward is currently being drafted around QB25 in Sleeper redrafts. That's one of my favorite values at the position. I project him as a high-end QB2 with legitimate QB1 upside if Tennessee develops faster than expected. With one of the league's easiest schedules, I'll happily click his name in the late rounds.

Running Backs

Tony Pollard is another player I'm targeting everywhere. He finished as the RB23 last season, but that doesn't tell the full story. Tennessee's offense simply wasn't functional. Pollard had just three games over 12 fantasy points because defenses didn't respect the passing attack.

That changes this year.

I still expect Pollard to approach 300 touches again, but they'll be much more meaningful touches in a competent offense instead of fighting for every yard against stacked boxes. He's currently being drafted as an RB3 despite finishing as an RB2 in each of the past four seasons.

That's tremendous value.

Tyjae Spears shouldn't be overlooked either. He's carved out the receiving role in Tennessee, catching 90% of his targets last season. Daboll has consistently shown he's comfortable using two running backs, giving Spears weekly flex value while providing one of the better handcuffs in fantasy football.

The Titans also selected Nicholas Singleton on Day 3 of the NFL Draft. I'm out at his current rookie ADP. Singleton was inconsistent throughout college and is coming off a Jones fracture suffered during the Senior Bowl. With Pollard and Spears already established, I don't see a meaningful fantasy role in 2026.

If you're looking for value in Tennessee's backfield, it's Spears in the double-digit rounds.

Wide Receivers

This is where things get exciting.

Wan'Dale Robinson has seen 140 targets in each of the past two seasons under Brian Daboll, and now he'll be catching passes from a quarterback with significantly more upside than what the Giants have had.

Carnell Tate might end up being one of the steals of the draft with this rookie class. He's already one of the cleanest route runners entering the league, stands 6-foot-2, wins consistently at the catch point, and finished his final season at Ohio State without recording a single drop. His career drop rate of 4% speaks for itself.

I can easily envision Tate stepping into a role similar to the one Malik Nabers played under Daboll, while Robinson continues operating underneath as the chain mover.

Elic Ayomanor and Chimere Dike should continue rotating as complementary receivers, likely seeing somewhere between 35 and 50 targets each. Calvin Ridley took a pay cut to remain in Tennessee, and even if he makes the roster, I don't expect enough volume for him to become fantasy relevant.

Wan'Dale Robinson is the best value in this receiving corps. He finished as the WR14 in 2025, posted his first 1,000-yard season, and scored only four touchdowns. If the touchdowns increase even slightly, he's going to crush his current ADP around pick 103.

He's one of my favorite draft and trade targets this season.

Tight Ends

Gunner Helm enters 2026 as Tennessee's starting tight end following Chig Okonkwo's departure. He finished as the TE31 as a rookie while seeing only 50 targets, so natural progression should lead to increased opportunities.

While tight ends have never been featured heavily in Brian Daboll's offense, Helm is only 23 years old and is worth stashing in deeper dynasty leagues. I'm much more interested in him as a dynasty asset than a redraft option.

Final Thoughts

The Titans are going to give you plenty of bang for your buck in fantasy football this season.

Robert Saleh should dramatically improve the defense, which means Tennessee won't constantly be chasing games. Better game scripts, improved quarterback play, and significantly better coaching should create more efficient offensive opportunities across the board.

The Titans don't need to become a playoff team for their fantasy players to outperform ADP. They just need to become competent. I believe they're well on their way.

Read the Room

The Titans don't need to become contenders for their fantasy players to become league winners. Tennessee quietly built one of the most improved situations in football, and I'm buying before the rest of the fantasy community catches on.
