BioAnalysis
Braden Fiske was a four-year letterman at Michigan City High School in Indiana. He was a three-star defensive lineman who was a three-time All-Duneland Conference selection. Fiske was an exceptional baseball player as well for Michigan City. During his senior season, Fiske committed to Western Michigan to play football. Fiske took a redshirt in 2018 after only getting on the field for 2 games and playing a grand total of 19 snaps. In 2019, he played in 12 games, missing the bowl game with an injury. He was part of a rotation on the defensive line and collected 24 tackles, 2 TFL, 1 sack and 1 fumble recovery. In the Covid-shortened season of 2020, Fiske was starting to show some dominance on the defensive line. He finished the 6 game season with 23 tackles, 5.5 TFL and 2.5 sacks and became a full-time starter in 2021, starting all 13 games and setting career highs in tackles with 43. He also set career highs in TFL with 7.5 and sacks with 3.5. Fiske had his biggest season for the Broncos in 2022. He started all 12 games and had 59 tackles to go along with 12 TFL and 6 sacks and was responsible for 3 forced fumbles in a season that saw Fiske become a late round draft prospect. He decided, however, not to enter the NFL Draft but instead, he entered the transfer portal. Fiske, one of the top portal defensive linemen, decided to play his last season at Florida State. This past season with the Seminoles, Fiske was one of the leaders on a defense that went 13-1 and just missed out on playing in the college playoffs. He started 13 games for Florida State and tallied 43 tackles, 9 TFL and 6 sacks.
