Ladd McConkey

McConkey was a 3-star recruit out of North Murray High School in Chatsworth, Georgia. He was named to the 2019 All-state Class 3A first team after putting up 3,051 total yards of offense playing quarterback, running back, receiver and return specialist. McConkey was part of the scout team in 2020 and was redshirted by Georgia. In 2021 he was named to the Coaches’ Freshman All-SEC Team after playing in 15 games, starting 7 and hauling in 31 passes for 447 yards and 5 touchdowns. Last season, he started in 14 of the 15 games and was an integral part of the National Champions' offense. He caught 58 passes for 762 yards and 7 touchdowns, and also added 2 touchdown runs to his big season. After the season, he was named the Coaches’ All-SEC Second Team. In 2023, McConkey played in just 8 games due to an ankle injury that lingered throughout the year. In his limited playing time, he lived up to expectations as he made 30 receptions for 478 yards and 2 touchdowns, solidifying himself as one of the best slot options in this draft class.
