Tim Smith

Smith attended Sebastian River High School where he was a four-star prospect and the Number 11 defensive tackle in the country via MaxPreps. During his senior season, he collected 62 tackles, 32 tackles for loss, and 10 sacks. He eventually chose the Crimson Tide over Clemson, Florida, Georgia, and Miami. As a freshman, Smith played more reps as the season went on and finished playing in 8 games and was credited with 14 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and 1 sack. He expanded his playing time in year two, playing in 15 games and starting 2 of them. He recorded 24 tackles, including 4 tackles for a loss and 0.5 sacks. In 2022, he played in all 13 games with 7 starts and collected 20 tackles, 2 tackles for a loss and 1 sack. This season, Smith has been a contributor on a solid, dependable defensive line for Alabama, playing in 14 games, and he has 31 tackles, 2 TFL and 2 sacks.
