Jacob Cozart

Cozart attended Wesleyan Christian Academy in North Carolina. In high school, he earned all-state honors as a sophomore and senior, and was named an Under Armour All-American. He chose to join NC State following high school. As a freshman, Cozart slashed .240/.337/.377 (average, on base %, slugging). He hit 4 home runs and 8 doubles, driving in 25 RBI in 42 starts and 52 games. As a sophomore, Cozart improved in nearly every metric, batting with a stat line of .301/.392/.546. He hit 10 home runs and 14 doubles, and drove in 42 RBI. He earned a Second Team All-ACC Selection. This year is Cozart's junior year. He looks to continue his improvement over his college career and solidify himself as a first round pick.
