Mansoor Delane

Mansoor Delane attended Archbishop Spalding in Severn, Maryland and was a three-star recruit. Delane had offers from Boston College, Illinois, Virginia Tech, Maryland, Minnesota, Louisville, and Vanderbilit but ultimately decided to commit to the Virginia Tech Hokies. As a true freshman, Delane played in eight games, making four starts at cornerback, and registering 38 tackles, 1.5 TFL, one interception, and two forced fumbles. The freshman cornerback also led the team with eight pass breakups. In 2023, Delane started all 13 games in the defensive backfield, and tallied 54 tackles, one interception, one fumble recovery, and 11 passes defended. After the season he was named an All-ACC Honorable Mention.
