Mason Graham attended Servite High School in Anaheim, California where he was a two-way player, starting on the defensive line and starting at tackle on the offensive line. He was also a star wrestler at Servite. In 2021, he was selected by the Los Angeles Times as the High School Player of the Year and named an All-American by MaxPreps. As a senior, he recorded 60 tackles, 22 tackles for a loss and 14 sacks. Graham was rated a four-star recruit and committed to Michigan after watching the Wolverines play Washington in Ann Arbor.
Graham saw extensive time as a freshman in 2022. He appeared in all 14 games, totaling 27 tackles and 2.5 sacks. After the season, he was named to the True Freshman All-America team by Pro Football Focus.
In 2023, Graham appeared in 13 games for the Wolverines, collecting 36 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, one forced fumble and a fumble recovery. He was named as as second-team All-American by the Sporting News, and a first-team All-Big Ten selection.
In 2024, the junior started 12 games and collected 45 tackles, seven tackles for a loss, and 3.5 sacks.
After the regular season, Graham declared for the NFL Draft
