Sirota attended The Gunnery School in New York. While there, he was a four year letter winner and earned a Northeast First-team All-American selection before joining Northeastern University.
As a freshman, Sirota had an immediate impact, slashing .326/.411/.511 (average, on base %, slugging), with 4 home runs, 14 doubles and 20 RBI in 37 games playing center field.
Last season as a sophomore, Sirota put up an impressive stat line of .344/.470/.674. He crushed his power numbers from his freshman season, hitting 18 home runs and 9 doubles, and accounting for 54 RBI in 55 games. He was selected to the All-CAA First Team for this performance.
This season is Sirota's junior year. He looks to stay hot at the plate and keep up the solid work in center to propel himself into the top 20 draft picks this year.
