Will Turner

Turner attended Auburn High School in Alabama. He lettered three times in baseball, batting .391 with three home runs and 25 RBI as a senior. He chose to join South Alabama following his high school career. As a freshman, Turner slashed .279/.391/.423 (average, on base %, slugging). He started all 54 games in center field and knocked in 36 RBI with 5 home runs, 8 doubles, and 4 triples. He also stole 13 bases. Last season as a sophomore, Turner improved drastically, slashing .349/.460/.591 with 9 home runs, 17 doubles, and 4 triples. He once again started all 54 games in center field and was responsible for 52 RBI and 10 stolen bases. This performance earned him a Second Team All-Sun Belt selection. This year is Turner's junior season with the Jaguars, and he aims to keep up his success at the plate as he grows.
