Moose Muhammad III attended Myers Park High School in North Carolina, where he was an Army All-American. His productive high school career led to him being a 4-star recruit by all 3 major outlets and the no. 7 overall prospect from North Carolina. For his career, he pulled in 63 receptions for 1,270 yards and 17 touchdowns.
Muhammad redshirted in 2020 after only being dressed for 3 games and accumulated no stats. The following season he played in 8 games for the Aggies and was second on the team in touchdown catches with 4, coming on only 10 receptions as he was used solely as a redzone target.
In 2022, Muhammad worked his way into the rotation and had his most productive collegiate season. He played in 10 games and hauled in 38 passes for 610 yards and 4 touchdowns. He was named to the PFF All-SEC second team after his stellar season.
This season, he took a step back in production and in targets. In 11 games, he caught 24 passes for 277 yards and 2 touchdowns. Ainias Smith became the go to Aggies receiver in 2023, but scouts still like Muhammad’s overall skill package.
