Pierce George

George attended Lake Travis High School in Texas. He was a four-time letter winner for head coach Mike Rogers. His high school career earned him prospect ranks as the 9th best RHP and the 35th best overall prospect in Texas. He chose to join the Texas Longhorns following his high school career. Last season as a freshman with Texas, George made just 3 appearances, posting a 13.50 ERA in 2.0 innings pitched. Due to limited playing time, he entered the transfer portal ahead of his sophomore season this year. George decided to transfer to Alabama for this season as a sophomore. He is expected to pitch from the bullpen once again, and will be a draft eligible sophomore at the end of the season.
